Hosting a BYU Intern
Our Students

We believe our program is a win-win proposition: while our students develop important professional competencies in the context of the German working culture, you and your company benefit from young and aspiring talent from 8,500 km away, who bring fresh and exciting thinking to the workplace.

Language of Internship
Most participants on the program have lived in a German-speaking country for eighteen months to two years and bring a high level of motivation to their internship experience on top of valuable native English-language skills.
German language skills usually are at the B2-C1 level.
Most students seek a German-speaking internship; however some prefer to work in English.
Duration and Payment
All our internsips are unpaid and, according to German law, never exceed 12 weeks.
Each of our students has valid health and liability insurance.
Internships typically begin within the first week of each program. Our students will work with you for 15-35 hours a week for 11-12 weeks.
How can we cooperate?
The application window closes approximately 6months prior to the start of each program. Each student submits a detailed application form, a university transcript, and an English CV, which can be translated into German upon request.
We organize at least one Skype conference call in which students can introduce themselves to the potential provider and discuss details associate with the internship. All details are agreed upon prior to the students’ arrival.
If you are interested in hosting a BYU intern or becoming a long-term partner, please leave us a message. We will get back to you within 72 hours and provide a list of students participating in future programs and detailed recommendations tailored to your professional requirements.
